Finally the long awaited sequel to BF:BC is available worldwide for purchase, this time also for the PC. Me and some other people of our staff already have it and i have to say DICE did a great job on it, also receiving great ratings from game magazines all over the world.
If you liked the beta make sure you get this one, even just the MP is worth it while the SP isnt as fantastic, but still pretty good.

It seems that our good ol' friends over at RELOADED got their hands on BC2 a few days early and decided to share it with the rest of the world. Those who feel like they can't wait a few days, you know where to find it.

We've just received this brand new Bad Company 2 trailer for you to view in HD. As Bad Company 2 hasn't even been released yet I have no idea why EA calls this a DLC trailer, perhaps they already have DLC ready for you to spent your hard earned money on.

Update: It seems not everybody is familiar with the upcoming DLC for this title. Everybody who purchases the game will receive a code which gives them access to the 'VIP zone' where they are able to download the DLC. Those who buy a second hand copy of the game will have to pay 15 dollar to gain access to the 'VIP zone'.

Project Reality Studios and Black Sand Studios are finally releasing v0.9 of their awarded Project Reality mod! For those out there that aren't familiar with this mod, it's a BF2 mod that purely focusses on realistic warfare and teamwork. This includes realistic weapon damage, weapons, assets and maps (4km²!). It came 2nd in the 2006 and 2007 MoDDB's Mod of the Year contest and first in 2008, so make sure to check this mod out!

As with most popular titles going shit the same story happens to Battlefield. While developers have previously stated dedicated servers will be available, now, developers are saying you have to pay DICE/EA in order to get your own dedicated server. In addition you can also forget about modding tools as those are not coming out either. IN SHORT this means that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 can be added to our craplist. This time joining Modern Failware 2 at second place. More news as it hits us (although it probably won't since none is interested in this game anymore).

Update: OfficialBFBC2 contacted us stating the following; "You will rent servers from the same guys that you do BF2 & BF2142, get your facts straight first!" After which it seems they blocked us as we are no longer able to send them direct messages via twitter. Well just to reply; I'd hate to tell you guys this but there will be lots more negative comments heading your way because of this dedicated server shenanigans and blocking those users won't do you any good.

There is good news for those who expected more from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and are waiting for Battlefield Bad Company 2. The beta, that should have been launched a month ago, will start at january 28th and will end on february 25th. That should give Dice a week to fix / tweak things, as the game will hit the shelves on march 5th.

Let the siege begin!

The weekend before Christmas (Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th, 12PM - 10PM Pacific) EVGA Gaming will be hosting the first free public event for the web based First Person Shooter game: Battlefield Heroes.

This is a FREE to play event for ANYONE interested in having a good time and taking this game to the next level. We will be providing an unlimited ventrilo for all participants to communicate for the first time over VOIP, giving you an opportunity to work together and chat with fellow teammates.

This is a participation event and random drawing, anyone can play and anyone can win! Just yesterday DICE and EA have released the system specifications for both Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield: 1943. Both the minimal and the recommeded specifications are available for the grabs below.

Now that modern warfare has proven to be one of the worst call of duty games in the series, all hope is set on Battlefield Bad company 2. The developers are preparing for a december multiplayer beta for the PC much like the PS3 already has. Unlike Modern Warfare 2 this game fully supports dedicated servers and so that means that the MODMYWHAT network will most likely open a server for this game! More news as it hits us!
